A beautifully written poem for my Destructive Gods novel
This was written by a very, very dear friend. I love the inside of her mind, and I love that I'm in there.
Destructive Gods with their ambrosia laced looks, hooded eyes and heated stares.
Destructive Gods with their ambrosia laced looks, hooded eyes and heated stares.
Walking through a crowd all heads take a turn,
twisting in effort to see such perfection at work.
Destructive Gods with their ambrosia laced
looks, hooded eyes and heated stares.
Addicted to them can't get enough revolving
around them in circles, caught in their silky dangerous web.
Destructive Gods with their ambrosia laced
looks, hooded eyes and heated stares.
Half truths and secrets, lies are casually told
floating off their lips in a perfect harmony so beautifully pitched.
Destructive Gods with their ambrosia laced
looks, hooded eyes and heated stares.
Wanting to get closer to touch, taste and feel,
never seems like enough keep coming back for more.
Destructive Gods with their ambrosia laced
looks, hooded eyes and heated stares.
Their smiles make your head spin, their touch
heats you up inside leaving you shaky and weakened begging for them to do it again.
Destructive Gods with their ambrosia laced
looks, hooded eyes and heated stares.
Trailing a fiery sensual path everywhere they
go, can't help but be effected nor stop your feet from carrying you faster to
be near them once again.
Destructive Gods with their ambrosia laced
looks, hooded eyes and heated stares.
Baited breath and racing hearts, mind in chaos,
stomach in throat , willing to follow anywhere they go, anticipation to be
allowed this time, to stand in their presence a warm sexual pleasing glow.
Destructive Gods with their ambrosia laced
looks, hooded eyes and heated stares.
No regrets for things not meant to be, just the
feeling of awed honor pulsing to a steady beat. Bowing down on bended knees
offering up worship for these perfect, beautiful gods.
Destructive Gods with their ambrosia laced
looks, hooded eyes and heated stares.
